air guitar, house show
I applied to be in the air guitar toronto championship in july. here is the bio I wrote as part of my submission process:

The thought from within knowing that I can accomplish anything if I put my mind to it. Having sung in a band that played many a show, but never given the opportunity to play an instrument in the band, I look at this opportunity as one where I can truly shine and come into my own. This is not a one-off opportunity, this is a lifestyle choice that I am ready to embrace.

Eric Warner/Over The Top vs. The CFL
Young Entrepreneur Tackles CFL

Young Toronto entrepreneur Eric Warner has called a foul play on the
Canadian Football League. Warner is an established event promoter who since 2002 has continued to run his banner "Over The Top Festival" in Toronto. Warner's ‘trademark’ spring event caters to audiences of all ages with its eclectic music and arts programming. Meanwhile the CFL is promoting its fall Grey Cup festivities and entertainment in Toronto, using the same name "Over The Top Festival", although there is absolutely no association between the two Toronto events.

Dollarama in Now Magazine's Best of Edition
Best live gimmick

Dollarama's value-added concept is all about democracy. Eric Warner and Aaron Bronsteter invite all attendees to bring noisemakers, climb onstage and be part of their band. The only rule? No instrument can cost more than a loonie (plus tax), leading to a crazy cacophony composed on everything from marble-filled Tupperware to plastic hockey sticks.
